Student wellbeing and safety are key priorities.

We are committed to providing inclusive and supportive training; a respectful environment; and a safe space where all participants, regardless of their needs or challenges, can thrive in their martial arts journey. We have been awarded the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association (BMABA) Club Colours which requires us to demonstrate the highest available level of vetting in the UK for martial arts settings.

We encourage you to read the Unit 12 Martial Arts Club Handbook and Terms and Conditions before you train with us. The Terms and Conditions form the basis of our contract with you, whilst the Club Handbook contains useful key information and policies, including training rules and our Safeguarding policy.  BMABA are our registered association and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). If you have any concerns about safeguarding or conduct, please initially report concerns to Ashley Stocker at contact@unit12gosport.com. If you do not receive a prompt response, have concerns about the Club’s response, or if the concern relates to this person, you can escalate to BMABA’s professional safeguarding team at safeguarding@bmaba.org.uk.

Before your first lesson, you will be asked to read and sign the Club’s New Joiner Form, which contains assumption of risk statements and a core safety briefing. If you decide to continue training with us, you will need to pay an annual membership fee within 28 days of starting training, which includes essential student insurance.
