Overview of fees
The first two training sessions are provided free of charge. This allows prospective students to decide whether the style and approach to training at Unit 12 Martial Arts are suitable for them.
We do not use fixed-term contracts. Training fees are structured to provide flexibility, with several payment options available.
This page provides an overview of the costs students can expect during their first few months of training.
Pay-As-You-Go Training Fees
Pay-as-you-go training is available using the following options:
- £7 per student, per training session
- £10 per training session for either:
- one adult and one child, or
- two children training together as a family unit
Pay-as-you-go training fees do not include annual Club membership.
Monthly Subscription
A monthly subscription payment option is available and includes annual Club membership. Students wishing to pay by monthly subscription should discuss this option directly with an instructor.
Annual Club Membership
Annual Club membership costs £15 per student, per year. Membership includes essential individual training insurance. Membership must be paid within the first 28 days of training and must be maintained while training with the Club.
Gradings
Grading fees are set as follows:
- £15 per grading per student up to 4th Kyu
- £25 per grading per student for 3rd and 2nd Kyu
Grading fees include a preparatory warm-up training session. On successful completion of a grading, students are awarded a belt, registered on the BMABA national portal, and issued with a printed certificate.
Refer a Friend
Students who bring or refer a friend who begins training with Unit 12 Martial Arts will receive their next two training sessions free of charge.
Payment Method
Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment for all fees.
