Unit 12 Martial Arts overview

Training at Unit 12 Martial Arts takes place in a dedicated, self-contained dojo.

Classes are kept small, enabling instructors to observe students closely and adapt instruction where appropriate.

Other than parents or nominated carers for junior students during family classes, there are no spectators or onlookers. To protect student privacy, photographs and video recording are not permitted during training sessions, and images of students are not used for promotional or online purposes. This allows students to train without distraction and to focus fully on learning.

Training is open to any age and level of fitness. Physical capability is developed through karate practice, with training adjusted to individual needs. Students are not expected to train at the same pace or to meet uniform physical standards.

All training sessions are overseen by qualified, accredited, DBS-cleared instructors.
